The Opportunity
As a Managed Services - Ensemble Integration Engineer - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you will grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing increased ambiguity. You will use critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations.
In this role, you will be part of our Data, Analytics & AI Managed Services, focusing on leveraging advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients. You will uphold professional and technical standards, using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Agile methodologies and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Integrating and transforming data from various sources to support analytical processes and decision-making
- Validating data integrity and optimizing queries for efficient data processing and analysis
- Building and maintaining data infrastructure, including data lakes and engineering platforms, to enable seamless data integration
- Collaborating with teams to develop innovative solutions for complex data challenges
- Utilizing MySQL and other database technologies to enhance data storage and retrieval capabilities
- Applying analytical thinking to interpret data and generate actionable insights for clients
- Navigating complex situations to anticipate client needs and deliver quality solutions
- Upholding professional and technical standards in alignment with the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Mentoring junior team members to foster growth and development within data engineering projects
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain

- Developing and maintaining clinical integration workflows and HL7 message routing in InterSystems Ensemble

- Transforming source-specific HL7 messages into standardized enterprise structures

- Maintaining CCDA XML pipelines for clinical data extraction, validation, and routing
- Demonstrating proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and data engineering platforms
- Utilizing Agile methodologies to enhance scalability and team collaboration
- Excelling in data integration, transformation, and validation processes
- Leveraging MySQL for efficient query optimization and data management
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs
- Navigating complex situations with critical thinking and problem-solving skills

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
