Under the direction of the Associate Director of IT Planning & Development, the Workday Analyst/Developer will be the technical lead over the company Workday system integrations and middleware and be responsible for the overall maintenance, monitoring, support, development, and issue management of inbound/outbound integrations and middleware in accordance with company policies and standards. The candidate must:

  • Possess the confidence and skills to meet with company leadership and stakeholders.
  • Interview end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors in order to assess Workday technical needs.
  • Analyze and document business requirements and processes.
  • Work closely with Florida Cancer Specialists Human Resources team to provide recommendations on design decisions.
  • Possess strong experience with Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer and iLoad).
  • Possess experience with Web Services and API's (WSDL, SOAP, REST, and WS standards).
  • Possess experience with designing and implementing ETL processes and use of ETL tools such as Informatica.
  • Possess experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies.
  • Comfortable working with XML and JSON data formats.
  • Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems.
  • Be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Critically evaluate information from various sources.
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ensure business solutions are in line with the customers' requirements.
  • Develop informative, coherent and usable documentation.
  • Be a strong communicator in a virtual setting (via conference calls or web meetings).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. This position will be working on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
  • Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to Workday integrations.
  • Knowledge of source control for storing and versioning source code.
Position Qualifications/Requirements
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 5+ years' experience or equivalent combination of training and work experience appropriate for the role
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
Previous Experience:
  • Required experience includes Workday and Workday integrations.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Health Records (EMR/EHR), Medical Billing (Centricity or similar), Aria, SCC Soft, or similar medical, radiology, radiation and laboratory systems a plus.
  • History of leading and supporting successful projects.
  • Track record of following through on commitments.
