JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a talented and reliable Hair Designer to join our spa team, specializing in bridal and wedding party services. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating elegant, long-lasting styles and delivering exceptional client experiences in a fast-paced, celebratory environment. This role requires flexibility, creativity, and professionalism when working with brides and large groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional hair styling services for brides, bridesmaids, and wedding parties
  • Perform consultations to understand client vision and recommend suitable styles
  • Execute a variety of styles including updos, braids, blowouts, and formal looks
  • Ensure styles are long-lasting and camera-ready for events
  • Travel to on-site wedding locations as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools
  • Manage appointment schedules and work efficiently within timelines
  • Deliver excellent customer service and create a calm, enjoyable experience for clients
  • Stay up to date on current trends, techniques, and products
  • Collaborate with spa team members to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Valid cosmetology license
  • Proven experience in bridal or special event styling preferred
  • Strong portfolio of previous work
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification from an accredited spa therapy program or vocational school preferred.
  • Proven experience in a spa setting or related customer service field is advantageous.
