As a Producer of Game Experience, you will help imagine, plan, and execute the game presentation, promotions, entertainment, and fan engagement strategies that bring our 19 varsity sports to life.
We're looking for a self-starter who thrives on big ideas, loves live events, embraces collaboration, and isn't afraid to challenge convention in pursuit of creating unforgettable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:Create the Atmosphere
  • You will be the show caller for world-class live events.
  • Develop innovative live engagement strategies that creates fan energy, participation, loyalty, and excitement.
  • Design memorable in-game moments, reimagine characters, promotions, theme nights, traditions, and entertainment concepts.
  • Help transform athletic events into experiences that inspire emotion, energy, and connection through live storytelling.
  • Stay ahead of trends in sports, entertainment, technology, and fan behavior to continuously evolve the game-day experience.
  • Use fan feedback, your own creative compass and attendance data to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

Bring Events to Life
  • Lead voice of the live execution of fan-facing elements across assigned sports.
  • Build run-of-show documents, scripts, timelines, cue sheets, and operational plans.
  • Coordinate entertainment, talent, promotions, recognitions, and premium moments.
  • Work alongside production, marketing, communications, ticketing, facilities, and event management to deliver a consistent level of excellence in the live experience.
  • Ensure every event reflects the excellence and ambition of Utah Athletics.

Collaborate & Elevate
  • Partner with sponsors, agencies, performers, vendors, campus organizations, and community groups.
  • Help execute experiential marketing programs and activation concepts that connect fans to the Utah brand in the live environment.
  • Foster relationships that generate fresh ideas and unique opportunities for fan engagement.
  • Manage project timelines, creative deliverables, and execution plans from concept through completion.

Lead Yourself & Others
  • Assist in managing live fan experience and game presentation budgets.
  • Track expenses, invoices, contracts, and project expenditures.
  • Manage game day production team
  • Recruit, mentor, and supervise student staff, interns, and game-day personnel.
  • Maintain a high standard of operational excellence while delivering creative and innovative experiences.
  • Create a culture of imagination, evaluation, experimentation, and live experience excellence.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in sports, live events, marketing, fan engagement, entertainment, or related industries.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Preferred:
  • Experience in NCAA Division I athletics, professional sports, live entertainment, or major events.
  • Background in game presentation, experiential marketing, event production, or fan engagement.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and external partners.
  • Understanding of current trends across sports, entertainment, and fan culture.
