Job description

As a UX Designer on the PEX team, you will help define the vision for Amazon's internal, AI-first products and services. You will create personalized experiences that empower employees and associates with greater self-service, efficiency and focus. You will use customer feedback and data to shape a product strategy that leans on AI to streamline workflows, allowing managers, leaders and HR spend spend less time on administrative burden and more time on people.
You will design intelligent solutions that anticipate needs, surface the right information at the right time, and scale globally. You'll collaborate closely with product and engineering partners, as well as peer designers and researchers. You will use, and in some cases establish, scalable UX frameworks and patterns for AI-driven experiences. You will raise the bar for design across PXT and influence how we build tools that keep people at the center.
Key job responsibilities
• Define and drive both near- and mid-term UX vision, grounded in customer research, feedback, and data
• Design AI-first experiences that are helpful, intuitive, and proactive, not intrusive
• Design using scalable frameworks, patterns, and guidelines
• Own the end-to-end design process from concept through delivery, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Conduct user research to inform and vet designs and concepts
• Partner cross-functionally with product management, engineering, research, and content design to deliver cohesive experiences
• Influence through strategic thinking, design vision artifacts, and executive-level storytelling
• Advocate for the employee and associate persona, identifying opportunities to simplify and elevate the experience
• Passion for using AI to make experiences more human, not less

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Experience with Figma and the Adobe CS suite: XD, Photoshop, Illustrator. InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere and After Effects

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
