Job Title: Associate Attorney

Location: SAN ANTONIO

Our practice areas include Insurance Defense, Labor and Employment, Personal Injury Defense, Products Liability Defense, Retail and Hospitality, Toxic Tort Defense, Transportation, and Workers’ Compensation / Nonsubscriber Defense. We are committed to delivering high-quality legal services while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience to join our growing remote team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable managing a caseload independently in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

  • Conduct legal research and case analysis

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as needed (virtual and occasional in-person)

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members

  • Meet billing and case management expectations

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Active license to practice law in Texas

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience (defense experience preferred)

  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setting

  • Experience in one or more of the firm’s practice areas is a plus
