Job description

The Club at Crested Butte, located in Crested Butte, CO, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time, Market Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
 
Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) 
 
General Purpose:
The Market Attendant will prepare beverages and baked goods for The Club at Crested Butte's members while embodying the Club at Crested Butte's standards of service and member experience.
 
Essential Duties:
  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized requests including temperature changes and quantity of ingredients
  • Properly store food and beverage items to health-code standards
  • Maintain a clean coffee shop by ensuring all tables are bussed after each use
  • Wash dishes when necessary
  • Report to department manager when supplies need to be ordered
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen staff and other departments on product needs
  • Stock and inventory products
  • Ensure guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and professional manner
  • Respond to guest questions regarding general information about the facility
  • Communicate guest concerns or comments to management in a timely manner
  • Display a working knowledge of the POS system
  • Properly charge and close member tickets in Northstar
  • Perform other duties as required including light housekeeping duties
Physical Demands:
  • Physical activity may include long periods (6–8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping
  • The employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds
  • May encounter caustic or toxic chemicals
  • Occasionally work in outdoor conditions
 
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
 
Work Requirements:
  • Ability to work flexible hours including AM, PM, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Proficient administrative skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
