Job description

Human Castle is assisting a billion dollar global equipment manufacturing organization in the direct hiring of a Test Technician. This is a permanent-hire position which boasts an excellent salary, full benefits as well as two yearly bonuses. The hired Test Technician will be responsible for the following:

  • Work with and assist Test Team
  • Test units electromechanically
  • Handle the recoding and maintenance of all test records
  • Direct rectification of incorrect and failed components
  • Identify software failures and rectify
  • Advise of quality improvement
  • Ensure nameplates and safety warnings, etc. are installed and equipment is correctly dispatched.
  • Support Project Manager during customer visits and operational training.
  • Ensure all test procedures are completed during production as identified in quality procedures.
  • Provide test documents as required for machine manuals.

Required:

  • Associate's Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or technology degree
  • 2 years of experience in equipment testing or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Experience in electrical, control and software
  • Ability to liaise with customers and shop personnel
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
