Role Summary: The Lifecycle Services Solutions Consultant reports directly to the Solution Consultants Manager. The primary role of a Lifecycle Services Solution Consultant is to deliver accelerated sales growth in consulting business, services, and associated automation hardware and software portfolio. The Lifecycle Services Solution Consultant is the subject matter expert in understanding customers' business drivers and desired outcomes, combining capabilities and solutions to fully meet customer expectations. This role is the Lifecycle Services liaison between Rockwell Automation and Kendall Electric, providing marketing and commercial leadership for sales growth, responsibility for supporting the Commercial plan for the Services business, competency development of the sales team. Responsible for managing the services portfolio, go-to-market strategy and partner ecosystem related to Lifecycle Services.

Exciting work you will do:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Lifecycle Services Solution Consultant will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop goals and metrics and coordinate with team members on meeting targets for all areas of Kendall Electric services business
  • Understand the typical buyer, user, and influencer personas within a customer as well as their unique business drivers
  • Serve as a domain expert around Services business and continuously build competency within yourself and your services and sales resources
  • Attract new and expand existing customers by defining a commercial process across the company and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow Lifecycle Services
  • Work with outside sales to create and maintain a robust sales funnel
  • Create, own, and execute a business plan
  • Collaborate with domain experts to bring the right technical solutions to meet customer expectations and deliver outcomes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

  • Work Experience: 5 years' sales experience with a similar product line
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Experience working with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software; demonstrated knowledge and understanding of automation standards and terminology
  • Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities in a fast-paced, continuously evolving, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally; provides excellent internal and external customer service
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to see, talk, and hear; ability to sit for 8 hours a day
  • Physical Environment: Normal office environment; may include warehouse or fabrication environments with exposure to moving equipment

  • Work Experience: Previous experience selling to or working within manufacturing environments
