Tax Accountant / Senior Tax Accountant (CPA or CPA‑Track)

Location: Lake Wales, FL
Experience Level: 3–6+ Years of Public Accounting Experience

We are partnered with a well‑established public accounting firm in Lake Wales, FL that has served clients throughout Central Florida for generations. The firm provides comprehensive tax planning and compliance, accounting, bookkeeping, and advisory services to individuals and closely held businesses and is looking to add a Tax Accountant or Senior Tax Accountant to its growing team.

This role is ideal for a tax professional who values long‑term relationships, proactive planning, and working closely with experienced partners and staff in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses
  • Work across 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S returns
  • Participate in tax planning and advisory efforts, helping clients minimize tax exposure and plan proactively
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and explain tax matters clearly
  • Assist with reviewing work prepared by junior staff, depending on experience level
  • Stay current on tax law changes and apply guidance appropriately to client situations
