What You’ll Do

As an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Engineer you will design, develop, and support enterprise integrations that connect mission-critical retail systems across stores, distribution centers, eCommerce, supply chain, merchandising, finance, and corporate platforms. This role is responsible for building secure, scalable integrations leveraging OIC, ensuring real-time and batch data flows that support store operations, inventory accuracy, omnichannel fulfillment, and enterprise business processes.

 

  • Design, build, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including REST, SOAP, File-based, and scheduled orchestration flows.
  • Develop APIs and integrations to support omni-channel retail capabilities such as order management, POS, inventory, pricing, loyalty, merchandising, and eCommerce.
  • Integrate Oracle SaaS, on-prem retail systems, third-party applications, and cloud services across the enterprise.
  • Develop reusable integration components, frameworks, and templates to accelerate delivery.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and data flow issues in production.
  • Ensure high reliability and resilience of integrations supporting store transactions, supply chain operations, and financial data.
  • Implement alerting, dashboards, and automation for proactive incident response.
  • Partner with POS, ERP, eCommerce, WMS, CRM, and data engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and solution architects to translate business processes into technical integration designs.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, Oracle support, and implementation partners as needed.
  • Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Qualities for Success
  • 3–7+ years of experience in integration engineering or middleware development.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSD, XSLT, and API-based integration.
  • Experience integrating both Oracle SaaS and on-prem retail systems (POS, ERP, WMS, eCommerce, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in high-availability production environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, scripting (Python, Bash, or Groovy), and automation tools
  • Retail or omnichannel commerce experience.
  • Exposure to Oracle Retail (Xstore, SIOCS, RPM, ReSA, etc.), Oracle ERP, or WMS platforms.
  • Experience with OCI, AirByte, Dell Boomi, or other integration tools.
  • Knowledge of ETL, data pipelines, or API gateway technologies.Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication

The pay range for this position is $105,000 - $140,000 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
