The Role:

We are looking for an excellent team player with 4-star characteristics and experience. As a Retail Sales Associate you will be assisting our guests with their purchase and ensuring a positive guest experience. The Retail Sales Associate, is essential for providing an excellent shopping experience for our guests, have product knowledge and be able to provide assistance in various aspects of the retail store.

Job Duties:

  • Create positive guest experiences, by building customer relationships and fostering customer loyalty.
  • Greeting guests in a friendly manner, have the knowledge to answer questions regarding the products, prices and be able to discuss the local vendor and their brand.
  • Provide excellent customer service both during and after the sale.
  • Operate point of sale system, process guest transactions, handle cash, credit cards and other forms of payment accurately. Ensure the cash balances at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies to the leaders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records. Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and inform management when products are running low.
  • Product knowledge to offer tailored solutions and address guest needs effectively.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently. Aim to resolve the issues to the guest’s satisfaction, following all policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with all team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and will do your part to keep the store clean and inviting to guests.

Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent work experience.
  • POS and cash handling experience required.
  • Excellent customer service, communication (verbal and written) and time management skills.
  • Passionate, confident, enthusiastic, self-motivated, sociable, and energetic.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering service excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of all products and services offered by the store and hotel.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, listen to guest’s problems empathetically, analyze the situation and find appropriate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Required to stand and walk for prolonged periods throughout the shift (up to 8 hours), maintaining an active presence on the sales floor.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stretching, and light crouching to restock displays, retrieve inventory, and organize merchandise.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with business demands and peak operational periods.
