Job Details
Purpose: Role within supply chain support function. Role is primarily transactional with very limited continuous improvement time allotment. Continuous improvement expectations are basic troubleshooting within the tasks being performed and identification of opportunities to make tasks more effective/efficient. Success measured by whether work is completed every day. Work is repetitive and while attention to detail is critical. Works under direct supervision and receives frequent instruction. -Perform daily supply chain management activities, such as receiving (verification of shipments, checking in parts and transacting inventory), cycle counting (physically verifying the part count versus the system on hand balance), or other transactional assignments. -Coordinate material flow with supermarkets, truck drivers, material planners, AW transportation and supplier's transportation departments. -Provide analysis of root cause using information available through our informations systems, and communication with associates. -Utilize business processes to perform daily activities and lean tools to improve daily business processes. -Audit data integrity on an ongoing, daily basis -Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leads, and material planner. Qualifications: -Prior experience in working in manufacturing environment -Strong computer skills with experience in Excel, Word and Outlook preferred -Developing knowledge of lean, manufacturing, and business systems -Developing knowledge of supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems -Effective communication skills through written, verbal and listening techniques and collaboration with others -Actively participates in creation of own development plans -Takes responsibility for ensuring work in completed within time and quality parameters -Strong aptitude in problem identification Values define us-they speak to our past and guide our future.
