Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sourcing Manager for non-IT Professional Services for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Management Consulting clients. Candidates must have a background working on non-tech labor/worker related initiatives, have generally good knowledge of industry best practices and terminology (ability to differentiate between staff augmentation and professional services initiatives as a baseline), have good working Excel skills (not advanced, just proficient), and very good presentation and communication skills - capable of interfacing with senior directors and partners as needed.
Responsibilities :
Facilitate Sourcing Events:
1. Each sourcing manager will oversee 6-8 concurrent sourcing events every 4-6 weeks with a goal to meet projected outcomes as expressed by the category manager (cost savings, etc.) .
2. Enhance SOW Quality: Improve the structure and detail of engagement SOWs to ensure the firm receives the expected value from the services rendered while minimizing delivery risks and adhering to policy guidelines
3. Governance and Best Practices: Enforce governance standards and best practices in sourcing and renegotiation processes to optimize cost, compliance, and operational efficiency
4. Support Strategic Alignment: Align all EW engagements with the firm's long-term talent strategy and compliance requirements
Required Skills :
  • University degree and excellent academic record required
  • 7+ years in a professional business environment with at least 5 years of relevant Technology Sourcing experience required
  • Ability to lead sourcing events
  • Understanding of compliant RFP's
  • Supplier negotiations, and SOW reviews
  • Deep Strategic Sourcing knowledge across multiple standard indirect/ non-Tech categories that delivers excellent Sourcing Strategies
  • Deep expertise in Sourcing Steps and Processes (examples: Conducting Spend Analysis, Clean Sheet, Total Cost of Ownership and Cost Breakdown Analysis, Sourcing Strategy Development, Product/ Services Requirements and features Mapping, RFP Excellence, Business Case development, and outstanding ability to Negotiate); knowledge of technology solutions that digitize and automate Sourcing Processes is highly valued
  • Procurement transformation experience is highly valued
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly articulate creative, practical solutions
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functions at all organizational levels
  • Excellent ability to apply experience and knowledge to transformational improvements, influence others with knowledge and skills, and demonstrate outstanding change management, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience influencing senior leadership in a consensus-based culture, able to drive change, meet deadlines, and inspire confidence among senior leadership
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and ambiguous situations effectively
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint.
