This full-time remote position offers therapists the chance to provide high-quality behavioral healthcare while enjoying a healthy work-life balance. You will be instrumental in helping individuals and families achieve emotional well-being through personalized therapy sessions aimed at addressing their unique challenges.

About the Organization

At Our Health Counseling Associates, we are committed to fostering an integrated approach to mental and physical healthcare, with the vision of a healthier society. Our mission revolves around improving access to affordable and personalized mental health services, ensuring that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, receives the support they need. As one of the fastest-growing behavioral health practices in the United States, we pride ourselves on having a diverse, skilled, and compassionate team dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients.

Work Environment

This role is set in a remote work environment, allowing for flexibility while also providing dedicated outpatient services. Our team enjoys the advantages of a fully supportive administrative staff, cutting-edge digital technology, and modern office spaces conducive to creating meaningful client interactions. The company culture emphasizes collaboration, wellbeing, and continuous professional development, ensuring that your contributions as a therapist are valued and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your role will encompass a variety of essential responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments for couples and families to identify issues and establish effective treatment plans.
  • Facilitating both joint and individual sessions focusing on underlying family dynamics, communication issues, and emotional distress.
  • Addressing specific challenges such as alcohol abuse, psychological and physical abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustment to divorce and separation.
  • Utilizing evidence-based techniques and therapies tailored to the individual and family context.
  • Monitoring and adjusting treatment approaches based on client feedback and progress.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic care.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential electronic health records.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on diverse groups, including adults, children, and adolescents facing various mental health issues. While newly licensed therapists are encouraged to apply, candidates with prior clinical experience or specialized training in family therapy modalities will be given preference. A proven track record in addressing complex family issues and facilitating effective therapeutic relationships is highly desirable. Flexible availability to meet diverse client schedules is also critical for success in this role.
