Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your role will encompass a variety of essential responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for couples and families to identify issues and establish effective treatment plans.
• Facilitating both joint and individual sessions focusing on underlying family dynamics, communication issues, and emotional distress.
• Addressing specific challenges such as alcohol abuse, psychological and physical abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustment to divorce and separation.
• Utilizing evidence-based techniques and therapies tailored to the individual and family context.
• Monitoring and adjusting treatment approaches based on client feedback and progress.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic care.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential electronic health records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on diverse groups, including adults, children, and adolescents facing various mental health issues. You will engage clients from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them navigate personal obstacles and build healthier relational dynamics. Your efforts will directly contribute to improved mental health, client satisfaction, and a stronger sense of community among families.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Must hold a current and active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

Preferred Experience

While newly licensed therapists are encouraged to apply, candidates with prior clinical experience or specialized training in family therapy modalities will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
