Job Schedule: 9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday offย ย 

Job Description:

  • Be responsible for software development support for Linux and/or Windows applications.
  • Applications are primarily military mission systems or image processing desktop applications.
  • Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.
  • Be hard working, technically competent, possess pride in ownership and a good work ethic.
  • Have a strong desire to learn, possess good interpersonal skills and decision making/critical thinking skills.
  • Be dynamic and adaptable to change.
  • Set the highest ethical standards for self and others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:ย 

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field orย have completed theirย Bachelor'sย degree within the last 12ย months,ย regardlessย of age.ย ย 

Preferred Skills:

  • Software development/maintenance experience.
  • C, C++,ย  VC++ and/or Java experience
  • Window OS experience.
  • Applicant must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
  • Familiarity with software patterns and/or modern design methodologyย 
  • Object-Oriented Design and Analysis
  • GUI design and development experienceย 
  • Familiarity with software lifecycle process.
  • Hardware communications interfacing experienceย 
  • Containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) experience
  • GPU development experience is a plus. I.e. CUDA

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California,ย Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $97,000 -$116,400. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Newย York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $84,500 - $101,400. This is not a guarantee ofย compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
