Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Utilize forklift to move raw materials from storage areas to production staging areas.
  • Move finished products to storage areas or outbound trailers to be shipped out for distribution to Weis Markets retail locations.
  • Utilize a handled scanner to move products into and out of storage locations in Triceps software.
  • Palletize finished products and move products into storage in industrial racking systems.
  • Take quality inspected products from storages to trailers for shipment to the Weis Markets distribution center.
  • Input received raw materials into Triceps software using a handheld scanner to maintain accurate counts.
  • Maintain food allergen compliance by organizing and moving items to minimize cross contamination.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This associate has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Working towards completion of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
