Job description

The Quality Systems & Analytics Specialist supports the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) through data analysis, performance reporting, training administration, calibration oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role serves as a key member of the Quality organization, transforming quality data into actionable insights while ensuring employees have the training, resources, and measurement systems necessary to maintain compliance and improve performance. The position will initially support multiple functions within the Quality Engineering pillar and will play a central role in the development of future quality systems, analytics, and continuous improvement capabilities.
Reports to: Senior Director of Quality Assurance
Key Responsibilities
Data & Analytics
โ€ข Develop, maintain, and improve quality dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting.
โ€ข Collect, organize, analyze, and present quality-related data from multiple sources.
Monitor and report trends in:
  • Customer complaints
  • Internal nonconformances
  • Supplier performance
  • Corrective actions
  • Audit findings
  • Cost of quality metrics

โ€ข Support root cause investigations through data analysis and visualization.
โ€ข Identify improvement opportunities through statistical analysis and trend monitoring.
โ€ข Develop automated reports and reporting tools to improve organizational visibility and decision-making.
Quality Systems Support
โ€ข Assist with administration and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
โ€ข Support internal audit programs through data preparation and reporting.
โ€ข Maintain quality records and system documentation as assigned.
โ€ข Monitor action item status and support backlog prioritization efforts.
โ€ข Assist with process mapping and process improvement initiatives.
Training Administration
โ€ข Coordinate and maintain the organization's training management processes.
โ€ข Manage training records and documentation.
โ€ข Track required certifications, qualifications, and recurring training requirements.
โ€ข Support development and deployment of Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), training materials, and quality-related learning resources.
โ€ข Provide reporting and visibility of training completion and effectiveness.
Calibration & Measurement Systems
โ€ข Maintain calibration schedules and records.
โ€ข Coordinate calibration activities with internal and external service providers.
โ€ข Ensure measurement equipment remains compliant with established requirements.
โ€ข Support measurement system evaluations and MSA activities.
โ€ข Monitor calibration performance metrics and compliance status.
Continuous Improvement
โ€ข Participate in cross-functional improvement projects.
โ€ข Support corrective and preventive action activities through data analysis and follow-up.
โ€ข Assist in development of standard work, process controls, and visual management tools.
โ€ข Contribute to implementation of quality and operational excellence initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
โ€ข Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, Manufacturing, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
โ€ข Experience working within manufacturing, quality, engineering, or operations environments.
โ€ข Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
โ€ข Experience organizing and interpreting complex data sets.
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred
โ€ข Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or similar).
โ€ข Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other business intelligence tools.
โ€ข Experience with training management systems.
โ€ข Experience supporting calibration or metrology programs.
โ€ข Familiarity with:
  • SPC
  • MSA
  • Cp/Cpk
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • CAPA methodologies

โ€ข ASQ certification or willingness to pursue professional quality certifications.

Future Growth Path
As the Quality organization matures, this position is expected to expand into broader Quality Engineering responsibilities, including advanced analytics, statistical process control, process capability analysis, continuous improvement leadership, and quality planning activities.
