Job Overview:

As a Senior Software Developer I, you will work on Wind Creek’s mobile applications (Unity + iOS/Android) that deliver a variety of different game experiences and resort functionality to Wind Creek Hospitality guests. These mobile apps are a companion to our Wind Creek Casino web site. Our apps and web site help drive engagement and guest loyalty by providing fun and exciting digital experience for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, support, and documentation of code used in the mobile applications and related server-side components. Responsibilities may include UX improvements, performance optimization, new features, and front-end development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops, analyzes, troubleshoots, and optimizes code to meet requirements
  • Designs, develops, and implements solutions for Wind Creek mobile apps
  • Works within the full SDLC to deliver high quality implementations
  • Provides technical documentation of solutions and platform architecture
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives in order to maximize team effectiveness
  • Delivers timely solutions for tasks assigned
  • Communicates with other team members and departments to foster open and productive working relationships
  • Works with others to ensure accurate requirements are defined
  • Provides technical advice and consultation
  • Provides timely project status and issue reporting to management
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment - required
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older - required
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent AND Three (3) years-experience working in a mobile application development environment - required
    • OR Seven (7) years of software development experience developing, maintaining, and managing mobile applications - required
  • Three (3) years professional experience with Unity3D (or equivalent) - required
  • Fluent in C# (or equivalent) - required
  • Three (3) years mobile app development experience on iOS or Android- required
  • Experience with cross-platform development
  • Experience developing video games or casino style games
  • Experience using task management software
  • Knowledge of Git, or another similar source code management system
  • Experience managing and participating in code reviews
  • Experience working with online services
  • Experience in build automation
  • Experience meeting project deadlines and targets regarding tasks and deliverables
  • Experience communicating project requirements both verbally and through written documentation
  • Experience providing clear feedback and mentorship to junior and mid-level programmers
  • Willing to travel and participate in training and meetings as needed
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
  • Must have a valid and current State Driver’s License and an insurable driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Must have a Pennsylvania and/or Illinois Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position as requested
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
