This position functions as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) As a Senior SDET within PNC's Consumer Lending Originations Technology organization, you will play a critical role in leading quality strategy and test automation for large scale, enterprise initiatives. This role is ideal for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who combines strong technical depth with hands on leadership, modern automation practices, and banking domain expertise. This position will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; or Dallas, TX.
Required Skills and Experience:
Senior level experience as an SDET or QA Engineer, with a strong focus on automation and enterprise systems.
Proven experience leading testing efforts for large scale, multi team initiatives.
Strong hands on expertise with:
oJava, Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin
oAPI testing (REST, SOAP)
oCI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates
Experience working with Kafka, Web Services, Oracle, MongoDB, and distributed systems.
Solid understanding of test strategy, governance, and risk based testing.
Experience in banking or financial services is strongly preferred.
