Job description

  • In conjunction with team and under guidance of SBS Dean's Leadership Team, manage and control financial, budgeting, purchasing, and fiscal compliance functions for multiple academic and functional units within the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences centralized business services model.
    • Includes transactional work including reimbursements, budget management, chart of accounts administration, working with financial and logistical software systems, and assisting SBS faculty, staff, students, and principal investigators (PI's) with matters related to restricted funding activities. 
  • In conjunction with and under guidance of Senior leadership within SBS Business Team, oversee the review, approval, and reporting of expenditures assigned to restricted and research portfolio. Post-award management, effort report certification, budget reconciliation, position funding distributions, interfacing with UA Office of Sponsored Projects, and cost-share management.
  • Work across functional areas within centralized SBS business services center, performing similar financial, budget, transactional, and some HR responsibilities on an ad-hoc basis as part of the larger business services area.
