Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Associate Industrial Security Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, UT.

What You'll Get To Do:

This position will assist with developing, administering, and monitoring security programs, processes, and procedures for classified and proprietary materials. The selected candidate will study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations. They will interpret government agency regulations and ensure site compliance. They will assist with preparing manuals, working instructions, and processes and procedures for the management of classified, visitor access, managing government reporting requirements, etc. This position will conduct security education classes, briefs, debriefs, and security audits. The selected candidate will investigate security violations and prepare reports to specify preventive action to be taken. This position requires an understanding and application of industrial security principles, concepts, practices and standards. A full knowledge of industry practices, the ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks, and performing complex tasks is expected. This position requires interactions with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations and would be required to develop and deliver presentations to those personnel.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 0 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

  • Familiarity with SEAD 3, SEAD 4, and other security instructions

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • CDSE FSO Certification

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or other Atlassian products

  • Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets

  • Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications and customer service

  • Accustomed to briefing and training personnel, customers, and stakeholders at all levels

  • Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience

  • Organized and efficient at time management

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Experience with security systems such as DISS, NISS, JADE, SIMS, Lenel, etc.

  • Familiarity 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5200 manuals.

  • Experience working with DD254s, Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Non-Disclosure Agreements

  • Experience working in classified environments, managing GSA safes, or familiarity with Intrusion Detection Systems

Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
