Position Details

What You Will Do

  • Conduct regular monitoring and analysis of network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
  • Develop, implement, and assist with overseeing operational IT security procedures and standards to ensure they are effective and up to date.
  • Participate in incident response teams to manage, respond to, and resolve security breaches or threats in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate current IT infrastructure and propose enhancements to security controls, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems, and anti-malware software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new security systems or upgrades to existing infrastructure.
  • Conduct security assessments for new projects and technologies, ensuring their compliance with company's IT security standards and policies.
  • Perform regular security patch management and participate in change management processes to ensure security considerations are included in all IT projects.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with periodic internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the IT security measures in place.
  • Assist in preparing for external audits by ensuring necessary security documentation, evidence and reports are available and up to date.
  • Monitor compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, or GDPR.
  • Regularly review, update, and communicate security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with changing regulations and industry best practices

Who You Are

  • Hold a degree or diploma in Information Security
  • Have IT Security related certifications such as GCIH, CEH, CISSP, CCSP, OSCP
  • 5+ years relevant, hands-on experience in the field of IT Security
  • Have experience working with PAM solutions, Anti-Malware, IDS/IPS.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into IT security issues and products as required.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
