Job description

Department Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a General Obstetrics and Gynecology provider to provide as-needed coverage at OHSU and OHSU Partners sites. This position will serve as a Clinical Associate providing care primarily at Hillsboro Medical Center. The Clinical Associate is a critical component of the group practice model and will support all established obstetrical practices with care of ambulatory, inpatient and other related admissions. This position will also work in conjunction with team members as need arises, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Nurse Midwives, Gynecology, Family Medicine, and advanced practice providers.

Function/Duties of Position

Clinical

Participate in the delivery of the group clinical practice as needed/on call, with clinical care provided at the Center for Women's Health and OHSU Partners facilities, including Hillsboro Medical Center

Administrative

Administrative and other duties may be assigned based on department needs and areas of expertise and interest.

Required Qualifications
  • MD / DO
  • Completed ObGyn residency
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Independent surgical experience necessary to provide a full-scope practice
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve patient care goals.
  • Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting.
  • Active Oregon Medical License
  • Oregon DEA
