Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety and company policies, programs and procedures.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties, testing and data collection.
  • Operate units in accordance with operating procedures, manuals, regulations.
  • Verify that operation and maintenance activities are performed and comply with appropriate work and safety procedures.
  • Handle, store and utilize chemicals, fully aware of the MSDS data sheets.
  • Apply operation procedures for high risk jobs and abnormal situations.
  • Monitor and maintain inlet and outlet volumes.
  • Operate the gas storage plant safely, reliably and consistently with company standards and requirements to serve customers.
  • Monitor system integrity.
  • Perform daily monitoring and control of gas plant operations.
Education
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in oil and gas operations.
  • Preferred a relevant degree such as Associate or College Degree in Technical, Process Technology, General Education, Science, Chemistry, Electronics.
Experience
  • Collecting and testing of sour gas (H2S), water, and chemical samples.
  • Preparing equipment for maintenance and surveillance of operating equipment.
  • Making adjustments to plant operations to ensure efficient and consistent product demand.
  • Performing routine and light duty maintenance on equipment.
  • Initiating work orders and permitting for work related to assigned area.
  • Performing various preventive inspections of process and safety equipment.
