Job description


Autokiniton is a leading North American supplier of propulsion-agnostic, structural automotive components and assemblies. Our 100% vertical integration capabilities allow us to offer our customers end-to-end engineering, manufacturing, and in-house logistics. At Autokiniton, we are building a better foundation for every vehicle on the road.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of machinery, equipment, facilities and electrical systems in a stamping and welded assembly plant.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus up to 480 vac, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots.
  • Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors, operators, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of welding robotics
  • Millwright experience is a plus
  • Knowledge in FANUC, Motoman and or ALLEN BRADLEY
  • Proven ability to interact well with co-workers and promote the "Team" attitude.
  • Previous knowledge on machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance; Design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and recommend solutions.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Trade school certified as an Industrial/Electrician/Millwright or Industrial/Mechanic.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Journeyman's Card (Preferred)

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
