Who We Want 

As an Associate National Clinical Launch & Product Specialist, you will support the successful introduction and adoption of MAKO robotic systems to healthcare facilities and providers. In this field-based position, you will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, hospital staff and cross-functional teams to implement clinical launch plans, deliver education and training, provide procedural support, and help integrate robotic-assisted technology into surgical workflows. You will also support product demonstrations, certification labs and technology showcase events while expanding your expertise across additional MAKO applications.  

What You Will Do 

  • Lead the clinical implementation of MAKO technology and related clinical applications by executing launch plans, achieving clinical milestones, and supporting successful technology adoption at customer sites.  

  • Deliver training and education programs for surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to build proficiency in robotic-assisted surgical procedures and technology workflows.  

  • Provide clinical and technical support during product launches, surgical procedures, and post-implementation activities to ensure customer success.  

  • Collaborate with hospital administrators, surgical teams, and internal partners to integrate robotic technology into existing surgical programs.  

  • Support surgeon certification programs, product demonstrations, clinical labs, and technology showcase events to promote awareness and utilization of MAKO technology.  

  • Serve as a primary clinical resource for customer questions, product troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and best-practice guidance related to robotic-assisted surgery.  

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, gather customer feedback, and communicate customer needs to internal stakeholders to improve adoption and customer outcomes.  

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standards while supporting product safety, clinical excellence, and continuous professional development.  

What You Need 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work experience.  

  • MAKO certification. 

  • Minimum 4 years of professional work experience. 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with MAKO robotic applications and/or enabling technologies.  

  • Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgery and robotic-assisted surgical technology and applications required. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills. 

  • Ability to train and empower others with responsibilities. 

  • Ability to travel extensively to support product launches and customer engagement. 

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 2 or more years of healthcare experience. 

  • Experience supporting the launch, implementation, or adoption of new medical technologies in clinical settings.  

  • Additional training, certification, or experience supporting multiple MAKO applications.

  • This position requires the handling of instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or bodily fluids. In compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, Stryker will provide a safe working environment for all employees. 

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.  

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.    

  • Ability to manage stressful OR situations with professionalism and focus.

  • Exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English required.

  • USN: $77,700 - $129,500 USD Annual
  • US5: $81,600 - $136,000 USD Annual
  • US10: $85,500 - $142,500 USD Annual
  • US15: $89,400 - $148,900 USD Annual
  • US20: $93,200 - $155,400 USD Annual
  • US30: $101,000 - $168,400 USD Annual
