Job Type: Full-Time Nights

Schedule: 12 hour shifts 6:45pm-7am

How You'll Contribute

Join our team in a supportive environment that fosters growth and learning. Work with cutting-edge technology. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the Medical-Surgical Department through the nursing process of interview, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and triage.

The RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Essential Functions

  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
  • Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

What we're looking for:

Applicants should have a current Arizona or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
  • Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
  • BCLS required.
  • ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care certifications are preferred.
  • One year of experience preferred
