Kahala Nui, considered Hawaii's premier Senior Living Community, is looking for a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team!
POSITION SUMMARY: As a Registered Nurses (RNs) you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all nursing care prescribed for and provided to residents
Note: We accept New Graduate Registered Nurses!
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Typical Shift: Sunday, Thursday, Friday; DAY (6:00AM - 2:30PM)
  • Must have flexible availability to work day and evening shifts as needed.
  • Must be available Sunday through Saturday, including weekends and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Equivalent experience or education may be substituted at the hiring manager’s discretion for educational or work experience requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Valid state of Hawaii Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Availability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with residents, families, and associates.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to solve problems under minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions, including email, web browsers, standard office applications, and electronic health records systems to document resident care and clinical workflows per regulation.
  • Must have flexibility to work all shifts including day, night, overnight, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations.
  • Proof of valid CPR and First Aid AED certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare, long-tern, assisted living, or related setting.
  • Supervisory or charge nurse experience.
