About the Role

CIYIS is seeking an experienced Security Specialist to support secure Digital Engineering, software development, PLM modernization, cloud, and mission-system integration initiatives operating in regulated and classified environments.

The ideal candidate has experience implementing cybersecurity controls, supporting secure deployments, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with government and industry standards.

This role combines cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, secure architecture, DevSecOps, and classified environment support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support cybersecurity compliance and security governance activities.
  • Conduct security assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Assist with secure deployment and platform hardening initiatives.
  • Support RMF, NIST, and cybersecurity compliance efforts.
  • Monitor security controls and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Support secure cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
  • Participate in incident response and remediation activities.
  • Develop security documentation and compliance artifacts.
  • Support classified and restricted environment operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity or information assurance experience.
  • Experience supporting secure enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
  • Experience supporting risk management and compliance activities.
