Job description

Sales Manager

As the Sales Manager for the Reverb by Hard Rock Downtown Atlanta, you will focus on securing group business from a variety of corporate and business travel markets through proactive outreach, relationship building, and tailored sales strategies. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract execution—while collaborating with internal members to ensure flawless group experiences. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • You will build excellent relationships with a variety of clients, third parties, and community organizations in order to generate business for the hotel. Segments may include: Business Travel and Group to boost topline revenue for this Hotel.
  • Your daily tasks will include outside sales calls, telephone prospecting for new business supported by a variety of resources, systems/tools, responding to incoming RFPs and inquiries, executing contracts, and communicating client expectations clearly to hotel team.
  • Your boss is the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Performance will be measured by sales goal achievement, with selling focus on 3 – 12 month revenue targets.
  • A job in sales is one of the most important in a hotel, driving topline revenue.  This position can set you up for a progressive career in the sales discipline, including learning about new market segments, tackling larger hotels, and more.

Education & Experience

  • A college degree or two years of hotel sales experience
  • 2 Years Hotel Sales Experience, Required. 
  • Experience selling Independent & Lifestyle Brands Hotels, Highly Preferred.
  • Delphi Sales System Experience, Highly Preferred.

Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications
