Job description

Job Title: Aladdin Post Operations (Post Ops)
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aladdin Post Operations (Post Ops) professional to support post-trade operations across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin's post-trade modules, a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, and expertise in trade settlements, reconciliations, and exception management. While this is primarily a remote role, occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end post-trade processing, including trade allocations, matching, confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations across multiple asset classes.
  • Utilize Aladdin post-trade modules and workflow queues to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Perform exception management and resolve trade breaks through root-cause analysis and implementation of long-term process improvements.
  • Interface with market utilities such as DTCC, Omgeo, FIX, SWIFT, and CTM/OASYS to support trade affirmation and settlement activities.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of IBOR/ABOR data through reconciliation workflows, operational controls, and oversight.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and mitigate operational risk.
  • Prepare reports and perform data analysis to support reconciliation validation and control metrics.
Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin post-trade workflows and modules.
  • Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlements, affirmations, and market utility platforms, including DTCC, Omgeo, SWIFT, FIX, and CTM/OASYS.
  • Proven experience performing reconciliation analysis, break resolution, and operational risk reduction through root-cause investigation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis, reconciliation validation, reporting, and operational controls.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Work Arrangement
  • Primarily remote within the United States.
  • Limited travel may be required around project milestones, typically on the East Coast, based on business needs.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally is required.
