Introduction
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Business Development Executive who thrives in identifying, pursuing, and closing strategic deals. This "hunter" role requires leveraging existing relationships while building new connections through networking, thought leadership, speaking engagements, alliances, and active industry involvement.
Beyond closing deals, you will work through technology partner channels to ensure the successful identification, pursuit, and closure of strategic opportunities. This approach centers on building and leveraging relationships with external partners, such as technology vendors, solution providers, and industry alliances, to drive business growth. The role is focused on maximizing the value of these partnerships.
The Business Development Executive - Sitecore/Optimizely is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing deals for Rightpoint's suite of experience-led technology solutions, with a particular emphasis on Sitecore and Optimizely platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving company growth by creating and nurturing customer relationships, introducing new prospects, and assisting leads in understanding Rightpoint's offerings, especially those related to Sitecore and Optimizely. This includes developing pipelines and opportunities with strategic partners, leveraging technology partner channels, and maximizing the value of these partnerships.
What You'll Be Doing and the Impact You'll Make:
  • Employ strong discovery skills and knowledge of our products and services, the customer, and key competitors into the sales process and use that knowledge to uncover customer needs and create value-based solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, demonstrating ability to build long term sustainable clients.
  • Generate new relationships with decision makers in organizations.
  • Communicate the value proposition (and differentiation within the market) of the company's entire suite of services while owning the entire sales cycle of complex, consultative service sales.
  • Build a pipeline and accurately forecast business outcomes on a consistent basis.
  • Consistently qualify, generate, and execute on opportunities that provide profitable revenue to Rightpoint.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member and also facilitate the sales opportunity by providing leadership and orchestrating the internal and external resources needed to effectively manage the sales process.
What We'd Love to See:
  • 10+ years of sales in the consulting/professional services space, specifically with experience in the Sitecore and Optimizely platforms.
  • 5+ years of Adobe, Big Commerce, Optimizely Commerce, or similar commerce platform implementation sales experience and existing relationships with Adobe sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success of prospecting and closing sizable deals (i.e., $500K+).
  • Strong prospecting skills and ability to develop business.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with a focus on services sales.
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities, overcome obstacles, obtain results, and finesse the sale.
