Job description

Title: Sourcing Manager
Location: Remote but NYC would be great
Duration: 6 month contract to potential perm.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pending, but this is someone who has a minimum of 5 professional years of experience doing red lines with contracts, making edits to contracts, anything and everything outside of technology (NON IT). This will touch any and all contracts outside of IT, with a specialty in events and marketing at Guggenheim.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, this position will provide sourcing advice, negotiations, and contracts execution for all third-party engagements related to all Non-IT products or services used across the firm.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Manage a significant pipeline of sourcing projects across the firm
  • Ensure all deal are competitively priced, optimally executed, and achieves maximum value relative to spend
  • Continuously leverage benchmark data from external sources to secure the best commercial terms for each technology category
  • Draft, issue, and manage multiple competitive events (RFPs, RFIs) simultaneously
  • Work closely with corporate legal teams on all engagements to ensure all commercial and legal terms meet our requirements while mitigating risk
  • Negotiate and redline master agreements, NDAs, and SOWs
  • Liaise with key organizational constituents to understand and document specific business requirements while developing strong relationships
  • Perform post-contract vendor performance reviews, including organizing and running quarterly business reviews of key suppliers
  • Evaluates new suppliers and services, leads sourcing initiatives and manages existing supplier relationships
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or Juris Doctorate a plus)
  • MUST have experience redlining contracts and preferably a finance background.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct working experience for major organizations constructing and negotiating agreements for various business units across the firm
  • Experienced negotiating with Non-IT vendors supporting HR, Marketing, Events, Facilities, Premises, Professional Services firms, Finance, Global Administration, Corporate Services
  • Significant experience in redlining complex agreements
  • Self-starter capable of managing a large portfolio of strategic and tactical matters
