Remote Background Screening Research Associate
Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.00

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Background Screening Research Associate This is a fully remote position based in North Carolina who are eager to contribute to a team focused on compliance, background research, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive background investigations, including address history traces, social security number validations, and database searches.
  • Research and retrieve records from federal, state, and county court systems.
  • Analyze and interpret criminal background checks and other licensing requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with sources via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while upholding strict confidentiality and compliance standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain Basic FCRA Certification (training provided).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to follow detailed procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and virtual communication tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Typing speed of at least 45 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Must have a dedicated private workspace with high-speed internet and a wired (Ethernet) connection.
  • Prior experience in background research, compliance, customer service, or investigative roles is preferred.
