Quality Engineer

$60,000 - 80,000




Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering
  • Internship or full-time quality experience within manufacturing
  • Familiarity with PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, 8D's, etc




Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality standards, procedures, and inspection processes to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve product and process quality concerns.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and process validations to ensure compliance with established quality systems and industry standards.
  • Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection plans, control plans, work instructions, and quality reports.
  • Support new product development and process changes by participating in design reviews, risk assessments, and validation activities.
  • Investigate customer complaints and nonconformances, communicate findings, and implement effective corrective actions.
