Responsibilities

Key Responsiblities:

  • Innovative Design Solutions: Make independent decisions on engineering challenges, practices, and methods, crafting innovative design solutions.
  • Client Engagement: Actively participate in meetings and conferences, representing the firm, engaging in discussions on critical issues, and aligning project strategies.
  • Business Development Acumen: While managing projects, you will also build relationships with land and economic developers as we expand into emerging manufacturing and high-tech markets.
  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, development, and coordination of medium to large engineering projects or several smaller complex projects, ensuring budget and schedule compliance, quality control, and coordination between disciplines.
  • Expert Guidance: Act as a pivotal expert, sharing specialized skills and knowledge through cutting-edge techniques.
  • Supervision and Guidance: Offer supervision and guidance on key objectives, critical issues, innovative concepts, policy matters, and any unique challenges or advancements. Qualifications

Who We Need:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with eagerness to obtain licensure in the working state.
  • Professional Experience: A PE license and 10+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in site-civil land development aspects including layout, grading / drainage, utility design, and erosion sediment control in commercial, manufacturing, or institutional markets.
  • Networking Skills: Enjoys networking and has a solid grasp of the local business scene.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional at articulating ideas clearly, whether engaging with colleagues or clarifying design decisions to clients.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
