Project Administrator - Bridge Engineering
Location: Rocky Hill, CT | Full-Time | On-Site
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience)

Garg Consulting Services, Inc. (Garg) is a leading multidisciplinary engineering and construction management firm specializing in transportation infrastructure, bridge engineering, roadway design, and DOT projects throughout the Northeast. We are currently seeking a highly organized Project Administrator - Bridge Engineering to support bridge engineering projects in Connecticut.
Position Overview
The Project Administrator - Bridge Engineering will provide project coordination, documentation, reporting, and administrative support for our bridge engineering team. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage project records, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the bridge engineering project team with project documentation, correspondence, reports, and deliverable tracking.
  • Collect Daily Work Reports from subconsultants and submit them to clients.
  • Order equipment for bridge inspections.
  • Collect and review invoices for bridge inspections and coordinate with the Accounting Department for processing.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining project files, technical documents, design submissions, inspection reports, and client correspondence.
  • Track deadlines and project milestones to support timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, inspectors, subconsultants, contractors, and clients to support project communication and workflow.
  • Assist with preparation, formatting, quality checks, and distribution of project reports and technical documents.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready project records in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Provide general administrative and project coordination support for bridge design, inspection, rehabilitation, and construction support projects.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative, project coordination, or document control experience in engineering, construction, transportation, infrastructure, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • High level of accuracy, professionalism, discretion, and follow-through

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting DOT, bridge, transportation, or public infrastructure projects.
