What this job involves:

The Associate Project Manager will manage project activities from initiation through completion, coordinating with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. Responsibilities include developing project schedules, tracking milestones, managing budgets, and maintaining documentation in accordance with client requirements. The role involves regular communication with vendors, contractors, and client representatives to facilitate smooth project execution.

A critical component of this position is ensuring compliance with the client's operating procedures and safety management systems. This includes participating in safety meetings, conducting site inspections, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting incident reporting and investigation processes as needed. The Associate Project Manager will serve as a liaison between JLL and the client, building strong working relationships and understanding client-specific requirements and expectations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Deliver projects end-to-end-develop schedules, track milestones, coordinate resources, and ensure completion on time, within budget, and to client specifications

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with client teams, vendors, and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle

  • Ensure safety and compliance excellence by participating in safety meetings, conducting site inspections, maintaining documentation per client protocols, and supporting incident reporting processes

  • Monitor project performance-track progress, proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage budgets, and provide accurate cost forecasts and status updates

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards and client expectations

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and implementing effective project management practices

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction industry.

  • Proficiency in project management software like Procore

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Professional certification in project management (PMP)

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies in project management.

  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
