About the job associate construction manager

Associate Construction Manager

As an Associate Project Manager (Construction) within our growing team, you will be responsible for developing task order proposals, supporting the management team in tracking task budgets, monitoring activity schedules, monitoring the on-site subcontractors, implementing product quality standards, and otherwise supporting the Project and Program Managers. You will assist in the management of technical and administrative staff on a wide variety of complex projects across the United States.

We seek high-potential individuals who can learn quickly, grow with the organization, and assume additional responsibility as the organization expands over the next several years. Your

responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring project completion within budget/schedule and in conformance with specifications
  • Monitor implementation of a comprehensive set of Energy Conservation Measures
  • Reviewing contracts and subcontracts and managing subcontractors
  • Monitoring project financials and reporting to the Project Manager
  • Developing and maintaining design schedules for approval
  • Resolving field-initiated questions with the technical design team
  • Participating and attending design review meetings and recording meeting minutes and tracking action items
  • Coordinating the development of project deliverables with all parties involved
  • Participating in building and maintaining a positive client relationship
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety standards, codes, regulations
  • Review monitoring and verification plans and protocols, commissioning protocols, and associated post-implementation operations & maintenance protocols
  • Assist with business development responsibilities during development and implementation
Required and Preferred Qualifications:

Success in this position requires a dynamic individual with high aptitude, energy, and motivation, and an acute passion for managing sustainability projects. Critical requirements include:

  • Bachelors degree preferred, specifically in engineering or construction management.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in construction project management or project engineering, the technical degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
