Theย Transportation Business Unit at DEA is currently seeking aย Bridge Engineeringย Internย for ourย Boise, IDย officeย to provide engineering support to new and existing bridge engineering projects. This job will primarily consist ofย assistingย professional engineers and project managers in the Bridge Department with a wide range of tasksย pertaining toย planning, design, construction,ย operationsย and maintenance activities both in the office and in the field.ย ย 

What You'll DoKey Responsibilities:
  • Assistingย engineers, projectย managersย and designers with all aspects of projects; project set-up, drafting, design, project coordination/organization, etc.ย 
  • Internal coordination between departments and design teamsย 
  • Supporting other groups with design or inspection tasks as necessaryย 
  • Assistingย with project and team meetingsย 
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be in the pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, with at leastย 2+ yearsย of completed course workย 
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, heavy emphasis on Excel and Wordย 
  • Experience withย MicroStationย is favored but notย requiredย 
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team-oriented environmentย
