Job description

HGA is seeking an Associate Project Manager - Public Works to support operations in Ruston, LA The Associate PM supports engineering and construction project execution for Public Works and Civil projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for oversight of construction of Public Works and Civil projects.
  • Responsible for construction progress tracking and quality control in adherence with governing and permitting authorities.
  • Responsible for budget and schedule monitoring.
  • Lead coordination among engineers, inspectors, contractors, clients, and government agencies.
  • Prepare progress reports, change orders, pay estimates, red-line plans, and closeout documents.
  • May be responsible for aiding in engineering project management or design if needed due to schedule or construction workload.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technologies, or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in construction of Public Works or Civil projects.
  • Knowledge of Civil construction principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of quality control practices, construction management, codes and standards, procedures,
  • and specifications.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting Civil plans and specifications.
  • A high degree of capability in communications, client relationship, problem-solving, and team
  • management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word is required.
