The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks candidates for the position(s) of Assistant/Associate/Professor-Pediatric Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics.

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is a regional campus of one of the largest public medical schools in the United States. In collaboration with our hospitals and clinical partners, UICOMP Faculty members provide care to more than 45,000 patients each year. Position Summary
Pediatric Rheumatologist to provide ambulatory and inpatient care to pediatric patients with rheumatologic illnesses at the Children's Hospital of Illinois.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide acute and ongoing consultative care to children that have rheumatologic illnesses in both the hospital and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in education and training programs for medical students and residents and fellows in the Department of Pediatrics
  • Participate in Collaborative research activities of the Division of Rheumatology and department
  • Perform other duties of a university faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development and student counseling.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • MD/DO
  • Eligible for Illinois licensure
  • BC/BE Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Rheumatology
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interest in education and clinical research.
