Position Description Summary:
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) is seeking a full-time faculty member in the Department of Urology. The MFA is an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University. The Department of Urology's faculty are committed to patient care, cohesive and focused team building, administrative leadership, and resident and medical student education.
This non-tenure track position, expected to start as early as Summer 2026, will be at an academic rank (instructor/assistant professor/associate professor/full professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and pursuing scholarly interests consistent with our academic mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Urology and have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Urology at the time of appointment, and be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching as evidenced by teaching evaluations, excellence in research as evidenced by scholarly publications or works in progress, and excellence in clinical care as evidenced by experience and professional references.
