Summary of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas School of Law is pleased to announce that it is currently seeking applicants for a 9-month, 100% appointed, tenure/tenure track assistant, associate or full professor (based on qualifications) starting in the 2027-2028 academic year with teaching duties divided between its signature LL.M. Program in Agricultural and Food Law and JD Program. For the LL.M. program courses, there is a strong interest in agriculture and the environment.
Candidates must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring students. Applicants must demonstrate an excellent record of scholarship or, at the entry level, a strong potential for scholarship. Successful candidates will also show a commitment to service within and outside the University. Lateral candidates are encouraged to apply.

• A law license and two years of practical legal experience
• Tenure-track teaching experience or experience as a visiting assistant professor or fellow
