The Division of Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (BMT & CT), University of Minnesota Medical School, is seeking an academic pediatric hematologist/oncologist with training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy. The Division invites applications for an academic track position, with a focus in clinical care and research in non-malignant diseases at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
The ideal candidate will have translational clinical research experience and clinical expertise in the treatment and clinical research related to blood and marrow transplantation & cellular
therapy for patients with hemoglobinopathies, inborn errors of immunity, and other non- malignant diseases, as well as independently obtained research funding. This position will help
to further develop our BMT & CT Programs basic/translational research programs to funnel new ideas from bench to bedside. This individual will also participate in the inpatient and outpatient
clinical care of patients at the University of Minnesota Masonic Childrens Hospital.
Qualifications:
M.D. and Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Extensive training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy
Demonstrate excellence in patient care and clinical research
Must have or be able to attain a medical license in the state of Minnesota
Must be able to pass credentialing

The Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BMT/CT) Program at the University of Minnesota has been at the forefront of advances since performing the worlds first successful BMT in 1968. Since then, our teams have performed more than 12,000 BMTs.
Our Program continues development in translational immunology, BMT and cellular therapy, and expand its portfolio of novel clinical trials.
Pay Range: $174,000-$273,800; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment
