Title: Wire Harness Fabrication Associate (Product Development Associate)
Location: Onsite at Elmdorf, TX
Duration: 12 Months
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5 PM

Job Overview
- Fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and requestor specifications.
- Measure, cut, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires using hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Routed and bundled wires, installed connectors, labels, heat shrink tubing, and protective sleeving to ensure proper fit and function.
- Performed continuity, insulation resistance, and quality inspections to verify compliance with industry standards and production requirements.
- Maintained a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures and meeting production schedules.
- Collaborated with quality and engineering teams to troubleshoot wiring issues and identify solutions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Fabricating prototype automotive-type wire harness assemblies, including soldering and crimping.
- Vehicle installation of wire harnesses and overlays.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, drawings, written and verbal descriptions.
- Wire harness inspection.
- Learn proper and efficient operation of wire harness fabrication equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance of fabrication equipment.
- General labor around facility & other tasks as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Vehicle-level electrical system troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Able to read automotive vehicle electrical schematics.
- Familiar with oscilloscopes and digital voltage ohmmeters.
- Collecting data using a Canalyzer and/or similar devices.
- Career experience in the heavy truck/automotive industry.
- Basic MS Office knowledge.
