Job description

Who we are

Hammer Media is the digital media powerhouse behind Caleb Hammer and the hit show Financial Audit.

In just three years, weโ€™ve built one of the internet's fastest-growing brands, amassing over 3.5+millionsubscribersandover4billionviews!

Our mission scales through Dollarwise, a financial health platform that transforms viral content into practical tools. By bridging the gap between entertainment and FinTech, we provide personalized resources that empower users to master their habits and take control of their financial future.

Join us as we build the ultimate ecosystem for financial literacy and long-term growth.

About the Role

Millions of people watch Caleb tell someone their spending is out of control. The next question is always the same: okay, so what do I actually do? The Caleb Hammer website is where we answer that โ€” and it needs an owner.

We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to own calebhammer.com as a portfolio: the courses, the financial tools, the content, and everything in between. You'll be a part of the decision making in what gets built next, what gets cut, and where we invest.

This is a wear-a-few-hats role by design. Some weeks you're writing tickets and QA'ing a release. Others you're writing launch copy, digging into funnel data, or on a call with a potential partner. We want someone who sees a gap and closes it instead of waiting for it to be assigned.

A note on level: this is intentionally an early-career role. We're not looking for a senior or experienced PM to slot into a defined function. We're looking for someone hungry, in their first few years, who wants to grow into ownership of a real product portfolio and is genuinely excited to work outside their job description to get there. If you want a narrow, well-scoped senior role, this isn't it.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

Own the website as a product portfolio

  • Own the roadmap for calebhammer.com โ€” the courses, tools, and overall site experience
  • Prioritize across a mixed portfolio and be able to explain the tradeoffs to anyone who asks
  • Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and keep tickets moving with engineering and design
  • QA every release before it ships

Grow community and participation

  • Own the metrics that show people are actually engaging: sign-ups, activation, tool usage, course completion, repeat visits
  • Find where people drop off, form a hypothesis, test it, measure it
  • Build the feedback loop โ€” support tickets, surveys, reviews, YouTube comments โ€” and turn it into a prioritized backlog
  • Design and launch features and programs that get our audience participating, not just watching

Wear the product marketing hat

  • Support go-to-market for launches: positioning, lifecycle emails, landing pages, and in-app messaging
  • Turn the millions of people watching on YouTube into people who show up on the site and stick around
  • Report on performance with the story behind the numbers, not just the numbers

Wear the partnerships hat

  • Identify, pitch, and grow partnerships that make the site more valuable โ€” tools, content, affiliate, and co-marketing opportunities
  • Own partner relationships day to day and push the ones with real upside
  • Bring us opportunities we haven't thought of yet
  • 1-3 years of experience in product management, product operations, product marketing, growth, or an adjacent role where you shipped something real
  • A self-starter in the actual sense โ€” you spot the thing that needs doing and do it without being asked twice
  • A clear writer. You can take a messy idea and turn it into a one-pager anyone in the company can act on
  • Comfortable with data โ€” you can pull your own numbers, build a funnel, and defend a decision with evidence
  • Comfortable being externally facing: you can get on a call with a partner and represent us well
  • Organized by default, with real project management chops (Linear, ClickUp, Asana, or equivalent)
  • Direct communicator who can give and take blunt feedback without taking it personally
  • Genuinely excited to wear multiple hats and grow into the role rather than arrive fully formed
  • Bought into the mission: you actually care about people getting out of debt
Bonus points for:
  • Experience with educational coursework, e-learning, EdTech, or curriculum development
  • Product marketing experience โ€” launches, positioning, lifecycle campaigns
  • Partnerships, BD, or affiliate program experience
  • Background in personal finance, fintech, or a creator-led business
  • Experience with community-driven or membership products
  • You've taken a stack of online courses yourself and have strong opinions about which ones were worth it

We are an in-office team (we have offices in East Austin and Dallas) because we believe the best ideas happen when weโ€™re in the same room. Our culture is high-energy, collaborative, and focused on radical accountability.

  • Relocation Assistance:Not in Austin or Dallas? No problem. We provide a relocation package to help the right candidate join us here
  • Awesome Office & Team:Work from our East Austin or Dallas office with a stocked snack bar, catered lunches, and a team that actually likes spending time together
  • Unlimited PTO:We trust you to manage your time and your results
  • Health & Wealth:100% coverage for employee health, dental, and vision, plus a 401(k) with a company match
  • Lunch & Events:Lunch stipend and quarterly team-building activities (we go big on our events)
  • Pet-friendly:Thereโ€™s a good chance youโ€™ll be greeted by a few wagging tails when you walk through the door
