Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop product areas within the Pinewood.AI platform, ensuring they align with customer needs, business objectives and overall product strategy.
  • Build a deep understanding of automotive dealership operations and translate customer challenges into meaningful product opportunities.
  • Lead product discovery activities, including customer interviews, user research, data analysis, market research and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, emerging technologies and evolving customer expectations to help inform product strategy.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer value, commercial impact, technical considerations and delivery capacity.
  • Define clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable success criteria.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, QA, UX and Project Delivery to ensure requirements are understood and products are delivered effectively.
  • Lead, coach and support Associate Product Managers and Project Delivery Managers, ensuring their work remains aligned with product priorities and delivery objectives.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps and help communicate priorities, strategy and product direction across the organization.
  • Use customer feedback, product data and business metrics to make informed product decisions and measure the impact of releases.
  • Act as a key product partner for Account Management, Implementation, Partner Support, Engineering and other internal teams.
  • Support product communications, including release plans, product updates, feature benefits and delivery timelines.
  • Participate in feature reviews and sign-off, ensuring product changes meet customer needs, quality standards and business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with automotive dealers, customers, partners and manufacturers to understand real-world use cases and validate product direction.
  • Represent the voice of the customer while balancing commercial and technical considerations in product decisions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Product Manager in a software, SaaS or technology environment.
  • Experience in automotive retail, dealership operations, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), automotive technology or enterprise software.
  • Experience with one or more relevant automotive product areas, such as vehicle sales, inventory, CRM, accounting, Fixed ops/service, parts, F&I, reporting or dealership operations.
  • Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle, from discovery and research through delivery, launch and measurement of business value.
