Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking several NX Product Designers to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Prepare design layouts on complex units and mechanisms
  • Make design computations as required
  • Prepare general specifications, such as bills of materials
  • Work with layout drafters and detailers to achieve completed design
  • Develop creative drawings from design objectives established by others
  • Use manual or computer skills to complete design drawings
  • Meet all customer requirements

Qualifications

  • 2+ yearsโ€™ experience in Product Design
  • Experience in modeling from assembly drawings/packages
  • Sheet Metal and/or structural design experience
  • Solid Modeling and assembly design experience
  • Analytical ability to recognize and solve design and mechanical problems
  • Oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates in Vehicle Design or Product Development
  • Powertrain, Chassis, or Body Design
  • Electrical Design โ€“ Routing & Packaging
